Tony C. Richa, Shareholder

Mr. Richa was born and raised in Connecticut, but relocated to Washington
D.C. in 1993 when he was selected as a Dean’s Scholar and offered
a partial scholarship to attend American University. He completed his
undergraduate education at American University in 1997 where he earned
two B.A. degrees in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies/C.L.E.G
(Communication, Law, Economics and Government). While at American University,
Tony Richa was on the Dean’s List while also being President of
Phi Sigma Kappa.
His accomplishments and activities while in college earned him a Burns
Merit Scholarship to attend The George Washington University Law School
where he received his Juris Doctor in 2000. While in law school, Tony
Richa clerked for various private law firms while also making time to
serve his community by working for the Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinic
and the Health Insurance Counseling Project. Mr. Richa has been in private
practice since being admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 2000. He was
also admitted to the U.S. Federal District Court in 2001.
Upon graduating from law school, Tony Richa immediately entered private
practice. About three years after graduating law school, while working
for a law firm, Mr. Richa started Wolfpac-Rayet, LLC, a full service entertainment
management company that also provides management, consulting and business
services to individuals and companies in various industries. After gaining
invaluable experience working for various private law firms for several
years, Mr. Richa decided to start his own practice and formed The Law
Offices of Clinkscale & Richa, P.C., a law firm with offices in Rockville,
Maryland and New York City where he was a partner for approximately four
years. Mr. Richa then joined forces with
Julian Haffner to form Richa Haffner Law Group, P.C. and grew the firm together before
Mr. Richa started Richa Law Group, P.C..
Mr. Richa is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State
Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Maryland
Association for Justice among other legal groups and organizations. Mr.
Richa has represented everyone from big Hollywood movie stars, recording
artists and professional athletes to powerful lobbying firms made up of
former presidential advisors and high ranking former government officials
from various agencies including the Department of Defense and National
Security Agency as well as various corporations in a wide range of industries
from music to software development and IT. Mr. Richa has represented many
corporations, but he has also represented large blocks of shareholders
in corporate derivative lawsuits against corporations for illegal practices.
He has negotiated private sector deals for his clients that involve matters
of national security and defense. Mr. Richa has handled cases that have
garnered national attention in such media outlets as The Washington Post,
The New York Times, the Chicago Sun Times, NBC News and Sportscenter.
Mr. Richa’s
clients include recording artists, songwriters, music producers, music production
companies, music publishers, record labels, television and film producers,
television and video production companies, entertainment management companies,
apparel companies, filmmakers, professional photographers, promotion companies,
restaurants, lobbying firms, government consulting firms, mortgage companies,
real estate companies, graphic design companies, automobile service centers,
importers/exporters, interior decorating companies, insurance companies,
consulting companies, medical industry companies, technology companies,
software companies, image consulting companies, property nanagement companies,
retail stores, business management companies, actors, directors, screenwriters,
marketing companies, public relations firms, personal and business managers,
commercial and music video production companies, DJ’s, recording
studios, dancers and choreographers along with various corporations of
all sizes from small start-ups to publicly traded companies.
As he has throughout his life, Tony Richa remains active with various
charitable and community organizations. He is currently working on starting
a non-profit foundation in furtherance of his commitment to community
service. He is also working with a team to develop various television
shows, including two in which he will be featured. Mr. Richa has also
tapped into his love of music by doing some professional songwriting for
record labels and publishing companies.
Mr. Richa is proficient in Spanish and Arabic and has a basic understanding
